Theories and Principles in the Use and Design of Technology Driven Lesson

Trying to learn design should be based on learning theories. These theories will provide a basis for being able to recognize how learning take place and a way of explaining, describing, analyzing and predicting learning. A theory allows one individual to have more in depth knowledge and be able to make more educated decisions about planning, creating and implementing learning in that context.
When we decide on a particular way of being able to teach, it has allegations for people to acquire such knowledge.

As curriculum creators, our main objective is to be able to guarantee that learning is significant and aligned with our student’s needs. We do want the best instructional techniques to be chosen and implemented to help the students achieve its objectives. If we are able to understand more about the different theories, we will be able to begin to recognize the different learning process, understand our learning beliefs and question our assumptions about the learning methods.

The different theories provides a specific way of being able to look into learning and the basic ways that will make learning possible. Using the different theories as a guide, the curriculum creators will be able to consider and explain the role of each and every learner and how learning takes place in various ways. A number of theories provides a context for learning, basic motivation and teaching methods, and these have implications for the design and delivery of instruction. Furthermore, different theories are well-matched to different learning outcomes and different students’ profiles.

Use of Technology Inside the Classroom

It is important that teachers nowadays are aware that students are now engaged in using technologies. This may bring out many chances for teachers to make teaching and learning more effective.

Students are now easy to get bored in a discussion, that is why technologies may help to overcome it. Teachers may use application that can entertain students while learning, with that collaboration between them are there.

In using technologies, students and teachers can easily access for information, but teachers should also help their students to find accurate and reliable sources so that it will be effective for teaching and learning.

Students are now using technologies in classroom. While utilizing, they are also learning to be more responsible in the digital world.

Change is inevitable so as technologies, that is why educators and schools need to keep up to prepare students for sudden changes that we live in.
